My name is Ricardo Quintanilla. I specialize in portrait photography of Children, Families and Couples. My philosophy is to make people feel comfortable, safe and relaxed in front of the camera, while creating poses that are fun and natural in the environment provided.

I'm very careful to pay attention to detail so that the special smiles, frowns, thoughts and inner essence of each individual is captured and reflected in their portrait. My appreciation for arts and nature help me try to tell a story without words in the pictures I take.

My love for arts, drawing and music has grown throughout the years. I found my passion in piano when I was 10 years old and found I could express my creativity by playing the keyboard.

I find it inspirational to listen to music as I take photographs so I usually listen to Mozart and other great composers during my photo sessions.

I've been lucky that my wife discovered and shares the same passion for photography as I do so she and I do most of the photo shoot sessions together.

My passion for photography arts grew as I got exposed to the works of famous classic painters. After reading about photography and taking short courses, I thought I could express my feelings and creativity through the camera just like Monet and Picasso did through their paintings.

So it is my quest to bring out and capture the inner essence of people so that they can be cherished and remembered for generations to come.
